Other than the tangle that dislocated his shoulder at the end, I can't remember Groves losing control of the fight at all.
He did land some clean shots in the 12th when Groves was pinned in the corner with one arm. They had no effect. Groves then actually hurt Eubank with an uppercut with his good arm, Eubank was visibly staggered. Go back and watch the 12th if you never noticed it before.
I really doubt Eubank has any notable power above Euro/domestic level.

At least not at 168lbs. I said all along he wasn't big enough to go up and take the power with him - he's shipping a few inches in height to all of the current champs.

Well it's hos own choice to fight at 168, he could have stayed at 160.
If he did though, he'd have to fight Andrade, Jacobs, Charlo, GGG, Saunders or Canelo, so I think it's pretty clear why he skipped the division. He'd be even further away from world level and would face more potential drubbings.

Agreed, basically he's now paying the price for spending too much time posting flashy Instagram videos instead of studying his craft early on his career. Technically he's not much better now than he was in his 1st few fights, and has gotten by on toughness alone up to this point - and he's now proving that toughness alone is not enough at world level.

Someone enlighten me here. DeGale claims he can't wait to punish Eubank with the little 8oz gloves?

I thought anything above 147 they use 10oz? Can that be something they decide in negotiations?

One thing that always sticks in my mind is Floyd claiming DLH chose 10oz heavyweight gloves for their fight since he was the A side.
