Danny didn't lose to Thurman by much. If that had been Garcia against Thurman instead of Lopez I think Garcia would have won. If he had Thurman hurt the way Lopez had Thurman hurt he would have finished Thurman off in my opinion. Thurman was slightly better than Porter and Garcia before the layoff but he looked lousy and fragile against Lopez after the first few rounds. I would expect Garcia to KO Lopez with no problem.

Thurman is better than Garcia. Danny is afraid to let those hands go because he doesn't want to get clipped.

If that left hook that hurt Thurman came from Danny I think he would not have survived it. Thurman said in a interview that Danny has heavy hands and hurt his arm with a punch and the pain lasted for days. Then he said that he did not know if he could of taken that shot if it hit him in the chin. But... in the Lopez fight Thurman looked rusty, his body did not look the same, lost steam on his punches early, got badly hurt. I wonder how much weight did he had to lose for Lopez. Reminded me of Roy Jones when he came back down to light heavyweight after beating Ruiz.

Yeah, I think Thurman would still win. The fight would be fought at a much slower pace which would favor Keef.

Porter would have mauled him though imo, possibly gotten a tko.

            No. DSG is too cautious.
Thurman's style is hard to beat.
He steals points, then runs without giving you a chance to win them back.
You need a human bulldozer like Spence to beat that style.
