Arum spoke about how a Crawford-Spence PPV would do big numbers:
"I think the best welterweight is Spence,” stated Arum. “Let’s see what happens with Spence and Garcia and see if Spence will do the fight. Of all the fights, that is the easiest to make. Why? Because you do that fight, we do that fight like Mayweather-Pacquiao, where the two companies distribute and then you’ll have the benefit of the ESPN megaphone. That fight would do tremendous numbers.”
As a brit i can tell u khan doesnt have much of a fanbase over here. I really cant see who's going to buy it over here, will probably be one of the lowest, if not THE lowest, sky ppv.
US PPVs or overall ppvs? Remember Crawford-Khan is PPV in US and in UK. Spence Garcia will be ITV in UK.
In US PPVs its difficult seeing either top 250k buys. Garcia gets more Latino ppv buys but ESPN is the best arm to promoter a ppv which helps the Crawford-Khan fight.
Adding in the UK ppv the Crawford-Khan card probably generates more PPV revenue and Garcia-Spence sells a bit more US PPVs
That only happens if Crawford/Khan get within say 30k US buys from Spence/Garcia. Because Crawford/Khan isn't doing more than 100k buys in the UK. If Spence/Garcia do say 50k more US buys, then no chance Crawford/Khan generate as much PPV revenue as Spence/Garcia.
Dan Rafael asked about the PPV buys of Spence-Garcia vs the PPV buys of Crawford-Khan, and he asked Crawford if he's competitive with Spence when it comes to PPV buys.
Crawford said he has no control over PPV numbers, but he also said that PPV numbers are private and he isn't sure if the 350k-400k buys that are being reported for Spence-Garcia is accurate.

Nice answer given from Crawford after being schooled by Arum. So those aren't accurate, how many PPVs did he do against Postol when those same writers were saying 60k? Are we talking possibly 30k or 35k?
That would be huge if it does similar. Would smoke PPVs headlined by the likes of Ward/Kovalev/GGG and put them on par with Canelo/Floyd/Pac when making their headlining debut or fighting on their second PPVs. Also would mean Spence/Crawford very well could surpass the 500k mark....this year.
