If Manny's sticking around, why not? A win for Thurman would surely propel him towards the Spence fight. A win for Manny and it would have to rank as his best victory in years. Interesting clash of styles, too. Yes, Manny is 40 but he looked good against AB (admittedly tailor-made for him), still quick, still explosive, still strong and still undeniably a world-class fighter. I'm OK with Pacquiao-Thurman this year.Comment

Wouldn't be easy for Keith. And the way you're talking, you seem to think the only gateway to greatness is by beating Spence or Crawford. Manny is a step towards greatness, no you are not immediately "great" by beating a 40-yr-old Manny but nor are you immediately great by beating Spence or Crawford.Comment

You become great by fighting the best as often as possible.. not chasing the easy paycheck(40 year old legends).Wouldn't be easy for Keith. All im saying is Pac is past it and he wants the biggest payday possible. Hes in his 40 with 70 pro fights. What better payday than Floyd-Manny 2 for both of them to retire for good.Is it normal for Klitschko to want a rematch with Lennox Lewis now!?!?
What part of one guy is retired isn't getting through?
I'll be happy to see the rematch because if Mayweather is in shape it'll be the same result.
I think Thurman should be fighting Spence or Crawford instead of Pacquiao.
However, asking for rematch with a retired fighter and asking for a fight with an active champion is completely different.
I bet this fight happens. Floyd wants another big payday you can count on that. Fighting another UFC fighter won't give him the biggest one. Manny and him and both ATG in their 40s so why not...Comment
