I think his speed could cause him problems early on, but Crawford’s timing will be the key. He’ll start to time Khan and then a dominant stoppage victory is inevitable.

Crawford and Khan almost have the same style.
They both want distance, but Khan is armed with lightning combos.
Crawford should train for some Lamont Peterson swarming style...

Crawford is a far better counter puncher though, he’ll start to time and counter Khan after a couple of rounds IMO.

        Quite and intriguing fight IMO...

Though after last night I'm not sure if Keith knows how to hug and smother for the W.
I said fairly easy and that's exactly what he did in my eyes. He beat Porter 9-3 or 8-4. Landed almost all the best shots of the fight and was smart to tie up on the inside.

All this resume talk is nonsense. Resumes are merely names and records. I mean who do you think would be favored in these matchups. Just go by what you've seen in the ring, which obviously incorporates everything a resume does plus the fighter's skillset.

Seriously. Every back and forth I've read on here is at least 85% about who people have fought and very little about breakdowns about how fighters match up right now and what strategies they should employ. It's like listening to Stephen A and Skip when they couldn't go one present day topic without talking about Jordan or Brett Favre. That resume argument is for comparing or rating an entire career, like when you're ranking best fighters of a decade or generation. I don't think how guys fared against uncommon opponents from 3+ years ago is going to be the deciding factor in any big time matchup.

I really hope Thurman or Porter step up and fight Spence this year, there’s nothing standing in the way of those matchups. Spence needs some credible opposition at 147.
So does Crawford, but Khan might be the best Arum can get him which is unfortunate.

The boxer employs the promoter not the other way around.

Eddie Hearn wanted Khan to face Brook, Khan said no, he wants to fight Crawford for his title.

If fighters want the fight, it will happen

                  You both nailed it.

It’s rare to see fans talk about fighters qualities, skills etc; it’s just “well he beat and his best win is only therefore fighter A is the best.

It ain’t that simple. Khan was not tied to a rival network and you can’t compare Hearn’s relationship with Arum to Haymon’s. Poor comparison.
