Spence has feasted on light welterweights and nobodies. Has 1 good win in Brook, where Brook was already battered the fight before.

Crawford was a weight bully at the lower weights and didn't fight anybody of note at 140lbs nor 147lbs.

Keith has Garcia, Porter, and Chaves (who was 22-0 with 22KOs at the time, much better win than Guerrero, you fools are just dazzled by names) at the top of his resume.
Chaves is sh**😂😂 Jamal James smashed him in 3 rounds FFS. Soto Karass was a better win than Chaves.
Guerrero is a multiweight world champion who’s beat guys like Berto, Casamayor, Katsidis etc.
And Chaves has beat who exactly?
    “22-0 doe” GTFOH...

This isn't 2012. Danny and ANY aura he had around him has long faded. Danny lost to Herrera (given a decision win), arguably lost to LP, lost to Shawn, lost to Keith, and looked very ordinary against Ghost Guerrero.

Again, what about Danny is a "good" win? Dude is a bum-eater...his best win since 2013 is fucking Brandon Rios or Ghost Guerrero. Are you kidding me?

And Shawn Porter? MMAShawn? Dude is a joke. Hurt by Adrien Broner although won, lost to Kell Brook in a close but clean fight, lost to Thurman, and edged the above clown Danny Garcia in a close but clear fight. The only thing Shawn does well is ruin the fight for fans by hugging and trying to tackle his opponent all night long.

Keith Thurman was hurt against Lopez and Collazo (two literal journeymen contenders), and has close but clean wins over Danny and Shawn. There is literally zero worth mentioning on his resume otherwise. Nothing about this guy is impressive and personally find him annoying as fuck

Welterweight is a 2-dog race and that's Terrence Crawford and Errol Spence. The other three, call them the three stooges if you like, are jostling for 3rd place.
Both are were/are current/former champions at 147. And were top 5 in the division when he fought them.
Not great wins but clearly both good wins...

Gamboa, Beltran, Burns, Postol, Horn, Peterson all not as good as Josesito Lopez apparently.🤣🤣
A fighter that has 0 world title wins and a record of 1-4 against current/former/future champions.

        Idiot...

He probably does. Definitely a better resume than Spence, Crawford arguably has beat a more talented fighter in Gamboa but Thurman has far better wins at 147.

Resume doesn’t equate for talent though, and Spence and Crawford have shown far more talent in their performances than Thurman has. There’s no one on Thurman’s resume who Spence and Crawford couldn’t deal with easily IMO.

The point being Thurman has taken the tough fights. Crawford and Spence need to up their game.

Why can't they face each other this year?

Yea, it's definitely possible, but I always get nagged by the vision of Spence caught by overhands. Literally ever fight I can find a few overhands/hooks clean, but he hasnt fought any punchers. That's Thurman's bread and butter, when Spence gets in close looking to throw those combo's Thurman(if he's prime and has his power, not the one that just fought) will bomb him out, even if he doesnt KO him, it's an entirely different ball game falling forward onto Keith Thurman than it is falling forward into Kell Brook. Kell Brook mainly throws arm punches and isnt very good at sliding on his feet. Even this rusty Thurman flashed that great distance control and counter. I'm also interested to see how Spence would deal with someone constantly turning him.

If we look at history, the boxer puncher that likes to pressure/throw a lot of punches will often be relegated to a more cautious style when facing the threat of a skilled puncher who can counter.

Crawford isn’t that far off Burns (on the road) Gamboa, Postol, Horn as well as cleaning out 140.

And Spence’s performance on the road against Brook is more impressive than any Thurman performance IMO.
His resume aint that good, but still better than Spence and Crawford combined

You typed out all that just to have it come down to Thurmans resume is still better than Spence and Crawford combined.

I’d love to see them face off but there’s so much politics involved. Arum and Haymon don’t work together, they’re both aligned to rival tv networks etc etc.

I really hope Thurman or Porter step up and fight Spence this year, there’s nothing standing in the way of those matchups. Spence needs some credible opposition at 147.
So does Crawford, but Khan might be the best Arum can get him which is unfortunate.

I have nothing against Crawford, but I think Khan is all wrong for his style.

                      It really isn’t...

His best win is Shawn Porter who lost to Kell Brook. And I think dominant wins over Postol, Burns, Gamboa, Horn and Peterson outweigh wins over Garcia and Guerrero.

                      It’s irrelevant anyway.
