Did Tarver lose to a journey man with over 12 losses and handful of wins? As you said crazier things have happened. However, this Wilder brother is harmless I’m not interested in basking at his loss . Give us Baby oil Wilder that’s who we want. He will be knocked out Swiftly on the 13th April and I guarantee you I will have him back in Alabama by the 15th of April with only a mild concussion and a beautiful Louis Vuitton belt to replace the WBC belt

Tarver had a long & high level amateur career doe. I don't think Wilder's bro put the time into boxing like that & it feels like he's just in this cuz his big bro has made a name for himself. Don't think this guy ever got to thinking about turning pro in the decade or so Wilder was amateur or a protected pro with no live opponent on his resume. Once Wilder won a belt & started to get more attention I started hearing about this lil bro I never knew he even f#cking had. So it seemed an opportunistic move to me with this guy.

That's likely all it is, but sons/siblings of boxers always make for fun watching. I just want to see what he has before I relegate him to the bum bin. I did the same thing for Eubank Jr and many others, so I'll do it with little Wilder as well.

I didn’t watch the fight so I know nothing in that respect but it doesn’t make for pleasant reading. The guy he fought was not a knockout artist . He had only won 6 times in the ring and lost 12 times. I’m hearing Wilder had his way with him ( as he should) and one shot changed the fight. Anyone can be hurt especially up at those weights. We can both agree his opponent was garbage and was chosen for Wilder to look good especially as he had a fight scheduled in 3 weeks time. Whether he is 28,25, or 21 years it’s not impressive. If he was 21 you can be more optimistic but he is 28 years . Don’t get me wrong I love all trash talkers but when you don’t back it up in the ring you need to be a silent mouse. Hopefully he keeps his mouth shut from this day forth

Still though, I give everyone a fair shot, so I'll be looking forward to his next fight. He was winning easy, and then suddenly learned why "protect yourself at all times" applies anytime you're in the ring. Most fighters learn that as teenaged amateurs, but little Wilder is learning on the job.
