What do you think of this sanctioned bare knuckle boxing?

Does the fact that there are no gloves change the dynamic of it a lot, or just slightly?

And as far as quality of boxers, would the competitors here all be competing in regular pro boxing if they could, but just aren't quite good enough?

watched the first event, without gloves there were a lot of ugly cuts and eye pokes. The major difference was they were allowed to grab hold of their opponent's head and continue punching. Quality of fighters were low, these guys would probably be D level professional boxers.

bare knuckle boxing is ******, gloves are more to protect your hands than they are to protect you from getting KO'd. I can't see this being entertaining to anyone other than Tapout wearing drunken fratboys.

Getting hit with bare fists hurts more. Punches would have more power with no gloves softening up the punch. There would be lots of facial cuts and broken hands. The fighters would be guys that were not nearly good enough to be regular pro boxers. It's a very painful type of boxing with lots of cuts and broken hands and very little money to be made. A talented boxer will be in regular boxing for much less pain and suffering and much more money. I doubt it will be allowed in most places.
