From Canelo with the 11 fights $365 million dollar deal to Danny Jacobs getting $15 million to fight Canelo.

Pacquiao just got paid $20 million for the Broner fight.

Joshua makes a minimum of $20 million for his fights.

Usyk made over $10 million in 2018.

Wilder was paid $14 million while Fury was paid $11 million for their fight.

Golovkin is about to get paid serious money who ever he signs with.

The money is flowing in boxing between DAZN, PBC and Top Rank etc.

What do you guys think???

It’s prize fighting though. We get one night of fighting and years of money negotiations for the biggest fights. The only thing worth commenting on last weeks fight is how much Broner got paid to lose every round. I totally understand ur sentiment but boxing is money. We can run our mouth about who would win AJ v Wilder but unless they sort the money we get no pay off. People fight outside the bar all the time, no one cares cause they ain’t getting paid. My only issue is though if they get paid too well how hungry as fighters will they be?Will we get fights we want?
Floyd was paid too well so you get impression legacy went out of window. You really would need to care about legacy to let money not effect route of career. Hagler once said it's hard to train w hen you sleep in silk pyjamas or something along those lines

so do electricians. thats not the reason they get paid a lot so not sure why people always say that. they get paid a lot because there is a market or at least a perceived market in some fighters cases that is propped up artificially.

floyd is the jarmarcus russell of boxing. they gave him lots of money so he didnt even try. you are going to give me 30 million to fight guerrero hmmm ok. even in his prime he was making smart decisions. 3 million for sharmba or 7 for margarito? yeah easy decision.

With attendance, TV $ , International fights there’s lots of $ to be made only right if most go towards the fighter generating it

I doubt any promoter or advisor would continue paying if they constantly lost $ on these fights.
