The thing about Usyk is he has too many bandwagon fans that think he is unbeatable. If you watched his time at CW he is a very good fighter, had some great performances but also looked human his fair share of times.

All I'm saying is don't be surprised if he gets KOd at HW, and not by one of the top 3 either.

His accomplishments thus far have been very impressive: undisputed, lineal, unified, won all his titles in the champion's home country and beat multiple prime, undefeated champions.

I highly doubt he has much success at HW. This new era of HWs are just too big and their gameplans don't allow for a smaller man to trouble them.

Wilder gets outfoxed but catches Usyk mid rounds.
Agreed. The same applied of course to Klitschko, Povetkin, Takam, Brezeale, Whyte and Parker.

Oh no wait I forgot , wilder ducked 3 of them himself 😂

Hearn will want usyk to face Joshua as its a big fight ; but marketability wise makes sense to build usyk up first - which allows him to fight and accustomise to heavyweight anyway.

Can you please get off AJ's nuts for one second and name the 3 that Wilder ducked?

Don't think he can last against Wilder or Joshua. He got stunned by Gassiev who's only a cruiser. He should fight Whyte next.

If Usyk can even get hold of a single HW belt within a year I'll be impressed.
Usually, it's the stinking rotten IBF that pathologically strips their champions in quick time - see Terence Crawford and Gennady Golovkin as recent examples.
I think it was within 2 weeks of Crawford winning all 5 belts that the IBF stripped him.

So I predict if Usyk aligns himself with the IBF and sails toward a big fight, the IBF will strip Joshua and put it on the line for Usyk v -----

Parker has been mentioned as a good litmus test, I also think Povetkin, Andy Ruiz, maybe even one of the golden trio of up and comers in Dubois, Joyce, or Fa.

I honestly cannot see him getting past AJ, Fury or Wilder - in that order, simply because of the height discrepancy.

He would have to be an early prime version of Iron Mike, Joe Frasier, the heart and chin of Holyfield, or the type of other-worldly skill set of a Lomachenko the break down those disadvantages.

He'll do ok - he'll probably end up being one of those HW's who never fought a belt but was memorable types.

I think out of the top 3, his best chance stylistically is against Wilder - I just can't see him lasting 12 rounds though, no matter how many times I look at it.

I can see him outboxing Wilder then getting caught and KOd.
With AJ I think he just walks through Usyk, too big and strong and has good enough fundamentals.
Fury would just not get touched, it'd be embarrassing. The reach advantage and ring IQ is too much.

Usyk is going to have a big fall, because people built him up to be something he isn't. I didn't and still don't see a problem with him just reigning at CW and taking some good matchups at HW for the coin.

He's at that age though where he HAS to move up. The best time for him to go to HW is now, while he is still in his prime, and at least even if he gets KOd by AJ he gets a big money fight (not to mention any fights he takes inbetween before AJ is gonna bring in lots of money for him compared to CW)
