After having spent the last year cleaning out the cruiserweight division, Oleksandr Usyk is now prepared to leave it behind for good. The undisputed cruiserweight king and BoxingScene.com 2018 Fighter of the Year will make his heavyweight debut this coming May in the United States. 20 pounds heavier and a reach on average 6 inches shorter than most of the top HWs.

He needs to follow the Holyfield blueprint. Fight about 5-6 contenders before taking a shot at the title. Needs to get accustomed to the weight and the strength and power of the fighters.

Needs to come in at whatever he enters the ring at for cruiser. Can't pack on too much weight. He needs to do alot of strength building which may put on a little weight but he needs to stay limber and explosive.
