Better put the house, dog, cat, kids, cars, and wife on Canelo. No way he loses on the cards and at that price, you gonna get rich.

    Not bad odds at all
    One or the other
I thought it would be wider ( maybe cause it’s early )

It's usually wider earlier. The closer it gets to fight time the closer the odds get. I almost always waited until after the weigh-in to wager.

Depending where the money is laid

I got screwed a few times , like you I usually enjoy waiting untill the last minute
Especially now a days with the weigh in and all ( fighter can be too dry dehydrated or come in overweight etc etc etc )
They are basing this on Jacobs fight with triple G imo

Yes, the initial rush is where it gets wide.

I think Jacobs line based on Canelo losing 2x to GGG (I know I know) and Jacobs beating GGG (I thought so and so do a lot of people).

Mexican money will pour in and distort those lines soon, you can bet on that.

Which way will it go is the question

I too , also believe Jacobs won that fight against GGG

I believe the first Canelo fight was a little iffy but could of gone either way
Redhead certainly won the second one in my eyes and unanimously
Remember most bettors are ignorant, so where they gonna swing

I think it goes without saying that Canelo will stay the favorite. I don't see it getting to -400 though.

At this point the moneyline is like betting on Canelo to not get knocked out. He's unbeatable on the scorecards.

As a handicapper, putting money against Canelo feels like putting money against Pacquio (for the most part) or Calzaghe.

Here is some wager history for both fighters. Some site I just found, sources below. I did edit the Canelo image just to reduce redundancy.

Like I said before, never seen that site before so I don't know where they draw their data from. It's ballpark though which is ok for now.

Pretty hard to believe he was only -250 against Khan at one point. Especially after being at -380 the month before.

You're on your own hombre. Uncle Jimmy hung up those gloves a long time ago. When it's work, you end up hating it and I love it and it's too much work. It's not my style to gamble.
