What happened to the December 1st deadline?

“We’re not wiling to wait until December... a deal must be done well in advance of that”.
Eddie Hearn in September regarding AJ’s next fight.

It’s currently January 25th 2019 and AJ still has no opponent.😂😂

What happened to the Dec 1st deadline?
Was it just another smokescreen to to avoid any genuine and serious negotiations with team Wilder?

Hearn is full of hot air basically, at least when it comes to Joshua. I think a lot of the guys who up til now were clamouring for a shot at him have basically realised that they actually have other options and it's preferable for them to pursue those on their own terms rather than get jerked around by Hearn

Why do any of you believe a word these promoters say? It was and has always been the plan to fight Whyte then Miller this summer. same as plan for Wilder to fight Fury then Brezeale in 2019 IMO

What happened to Finkel and Wilder saying negotiations aren't possible in the lead up to a fight but trying to do ao when AJ was fighting Parker?

Surprise surprise after Wilder's fight was over negotiations are completely ignored and Wilder said even a fair offer is not acceptable.

If you want to judge boxing promoters on what they say and so on you need a reality check. It's literally their job to pressure fights into getting made by making statements like these.

Anything reported in the media is just meant to get the fans talking. Real negotiations don't happen through the media. How long will it take everyone on here to understand this?

Nah Brezeale ain’t in the plans for the Fury/Wilder winner. The winner will 100% want AJ, but if AJ’s team continue to avoid the two genuine threats in the division, Fury/Wilder will be forced to face Brezeale as he’s WBC mandatory.

If wilder wins he fight Brezeale next IMO because AJ is going to want a US fight to increase exposure (vs Miller) then unify.... and milk this more. Dont like it, but my prediction

Team Wilder made an official approach to AJ’s team in April after the Parker fight.
