Its one fight for good money. Showtime has nobody else at 130 which is why Davis is fighting Mares next. I thought it was called "prizefighting", but some guys are using networks as reason to duck fights even though they would make more money.

Trash fight. They should have made Farmer-Lundy which is another trash fight but at least Lundy has a recognizable name and they're both from Philly so it could have been a good little hometown showdown.

I don't know what to think of this title defense. I researched Jono and he is ranked 4th by the IBF but nobody else ranks him at all except boxrec who ranks every pro boxer in the world and they rank him 31st in the world. He only has 3 KO wins so he can't punch much. Farmer is the IBF champion so I can't complain about him fighting the number 4 IBF contender. I have never seen Jono fight but I am guessing Farmer will win easily. Farmer is a great body puncher with a high punch output per round.

This Katie Taylor movement Hearn is on is just a waste of time.
Taylor has fought on HBO and DAZN now, even on the recent Canelo card. She has had many people watching and enjoying her fights Stateside, she has been endorsed by Conor McCregor.

I'm not saying she is a superstar or a household name but don't pretend people don't know who she is. She has an Irish following and we all know how the Americans love to pretend they're Irish.

Women's boxing is on the rise, that's why Lou diBella is getting involved.

Guarantee if she was fighting under diBella, Oscar, Arum or Haymon you wouldn't be trying to discredit her at every opportunity. It's childish, grow up.

Huh? Why does it matter who is promoting her? Women's boxing just isn't a thing here. He can continue putting her on co-main and it won't matter. Now, for this card she can help bring in some Irish, but you're kidding yourself if you think she has a name or something.

Hearn tried putting Shields on the co-main in Kansas and dang near the whole arena emptied out. Does Shields do solid numbers at her hometown? Yeah, but does anyone care about her elsewhere? Nope.

If you put on Shields vs Hammer and Taylor vs Serrano, you get some buzz. Put them against anyone else and it's a waste of time.
