Rate These Young Fighters From 126-135

Rate these guys from 1-6 on who will be the best in three or four years?

    Teofimo Lopez
    Ryan Garcia
    Michael Conlan
    Devin Haney
    Shakur Stevenson
    Carlos Balderas

I know Conlan isn't technically young but in terms of fights he is and he turned pro around the time the others did. Excluded guys like Davis who is already a champ.

1 Garcia 2 Lopez 3 Haney 4 Conlan 5 Balderas 6 Stevenson. Lopez might be very good and he looks good beating up pathetic cherry picks but he needs to beat somebody worth a damn before he deserves to be called this future superstar in my opinion. His best win is over a c- fighter boxrec ranks 248th in the world.

      That high on Garcia? Interesting.

I mean it's not like either of those guys have faced tough competition yet. That changed in 2019. You will see some separation from the group.

        1. Lopez 2. Stevenson 3. Haney 4. Garcia 5. Balderas 6. Conlan

Teofimo is a superstar in the making. He has skills, power and tons of confidence and charisma. I think him vs Lomachenko in 2020 is going to be a huge fight.

Stevenson is the best of the group BY FAR right now at least. If they was the match up right now Stevenson whips them all and he would do it fairly EASY IMO. Just more Polished than the rest at this very moment.

After him the battle for #2 is Wide Open. Lopez have the Power but Haney has the SKILLS. Huge fans of all these guys though besides Conlan who I've never been impresses with not in the Amatures or the Olympics. He haven't stood out as a Pro at all even vs inferior competition. Top Rank made a big deal about his signing even more than Shakur Stevenson and was featuring him on ESPN more than Stevenson at first but he wasn't looking impressive at all.

Ryan Garcia has the following, the look, the personality, hand speed but kinda reminds me of Amir Khan. He is just fast at the moment but someone with Timing probably stops him if he doesn't fix that Defense.

Carlos Balderas and Rolando Romero are kinda flying under the radar but they not that far behind as far as talent and abilities they stack up with those guys as well

Neither of these KIDS should be hated on though, all very young and very early in their careers, give them time to grow and full develop before trying to label them "GREAT" or "HYPE JOBS"

The way Stevenson has been looking recently I'm putting him right in the discussion. At first I got to see him up close a few times and wasn't blown away but he's getting like 10% (or more) better with each fight. His ceiling could be highest but I'll still give the edge to Haney, barely.

              1. Haney
              2. Stevenson
              3. Lopez
              4. Balderas

*I’m gonna leave Balderas out because he’s had way less pro experience than the rest, so it’s hard to compare him to the other 5. Very exciting prospect though.

That Simion performance was very impressive.
He’s nowhere near his peak either IMO
