Ortiz was always overrated because he is from Cuba, barely had fans and had no Agenda. If you look a bit deeper you realized that Ortiz got schooled in the amateurs by another fellow cuban - Odlanier Solis. Ortiz went 0-5 vs Solis, he wasnt a top amateur and wasnt a top pro either. His lone notable win is over Bryant Jennings, a mediocre Heavyweight, other than that Ortiz has beaten nobody. Fabricated boogeyman because other than Ortiz the whole resume of Wilder is 100% garbage. Ortiz was always just the lame excuse to make Wilder a relevant champion and now that excuse has become mood.

Like who old Wlad, undersized old Povetkin. Anyone with eyes can see Ortiz is a good fighter.

Yeah but it's easier with a guy who had one decent win.

Exactly, and it's more than a little sad. The only people who even think about Ortiz today are his detractors. As if those of us who like to use our brains don't know why these threads are made. People are really willing to make an ass out of themselves to make another person look bad.

Ortiz's resume takes a hit cause someone he knocked out gets knocked out years later? Yeah man that's not how that works

Guess Roberto Duran's win over SRL is garbage since Camacho beat him huh
