Wtf lol that’s dumb. He is more like a poor man’s David Haye. thurman is a low output, ambush fighter who runs for defense. He is so uninteresting to me, I couldnt care less if he retires. I never thought he was exciting.

Spence would knock Thurman out and has been asking for a fight with Thurman for years but Thurman is fighting mediocre cherry pick Lopez. Thurman beat Garcia and Porter in close fights so he is a little better than they are but I think he loses to Spence and he almost certainly loses to the prime Leonard.

Someone thinks Thurman can be compared to Sugar Ray. I confess I always hated Leonard because I thought he was arrogant and especially the time he embarrassed Haglar when he announced to everyone, with Haglar in the crowd, that he would never fight him. But I never questioned how good he was. He is truly one of the greats and for someone to say Thurman is better than Leonard is just fu**ing ******.

Man you summed up his boxing style perfectly.

The difference could be measured in lightyears.

I can see the resemblance but its not a great comparison because they arent even close to the same league. If Keith Thurman was a Dewalt, Sugar Ray Leonard would be the Harbor Freight chinese knock off version.

I agree. Thurman took Leonard's archaic style, improved and adapted it for the modern era.

Could any of you even fathom Keith Thurman being stopped by a B level fighter like Camacho?

Hey at least I have a rational arguement as to why. Judging by the responses to your post my reply was mild. Leonard hand speed superior. Leonard foot speed superior. Leonard's chin in his prime at Welterweight excellent. Leonard adaptability in the ring . Superior. Leonard's will to win outstanding. I don't see Keith who is a good fighter beating Leonard.
