I couldn't believe how dumb he is for not using his left hook in all those corner situations for over 5 rounds. And that's just one thing I still remember.

ALSO, Usyk DIDN'T up the pace. It was Bellew who started getting tired. Usyk can't bring his endurance past 35 years. So unless he gets Papachenko or grows his own brain then his reign won't be long.
    I don't disagree

I don't like Bellew and tuned in to watch him get decimated and while Usyk got it done in the end he looked awful for 5 rounds. And the look on his face told me he wasn't expecting or enjoying that.

Kownacki is fighting Gerald Washington on Saturday. If he wins that would make for a great brawl against Usyk.

Usyk probably has 2 to 4 good years left and they are only fighting him after 6-7 months instead of after 4, which is wasting 2-3 months for nothing. These promoters seem to take for granted that their fighter will be able to maintain prime form until age 35+ like Floyd did, then when their fighter can't do it like most 90% of fighters primes dont last until 35, they are left holding the bag while the career falls apart because the fights they should have made while their fighter was still elite they did not make until he was 35 years old, and by that point it's too late for him to perform at the level needed to have success in those fights and push his career to superstardom like would have happened had he gotten those wins in his prime.
I understand your point about momentum, Usyk proababky has 5 good years.

31-22 is not THAT old anymore

How do you compare guys like that to Usyk? It's like you're not even trying.

Has Usyk ever failed a drug test? Has Usyk ever had a ridiculous scorecard in his favor?

Has Usyk ever claimed to better than all the other old school champions of the past?
Has Usyk ever been to charged with assaulting a woman, more than once?

Did Usyk take like 40 fights against bums and claim he was the best in his weight class when there were two other fighters who did just as much (talking about when Wilder claimed he was the real heavyweight champion, despite only having had beaten Stiverne), or claim he would be old school greats like Mike Tyson?

But also out reaches him by 6 inches. Usyk couldn’t get past his jab and would be floored by a right hand and put to sleep.

I think the extra time was needed for Usyk to heal and rest and also to pack on muscle mass. Smart decision to not to rush it.

Breazeale, Ortiz, or Bryan the WBA interim champ. If not, bring Charr(WBA reg) or Pulev over. These are recognizable names and beatable opponents except maybe Ortiz. Perhaps, Joe Joyce should scrap the Stiverne fight and rematch Usyk.

He could probably tear through the WBO ranking....but I want Usyk-Povetkin.

                  Ukraine > Russia

Povetkin and Ortiz are dangerous fights to start with.

Find me one fighter who doesn't get criticized?

You got dudes on here who hate on Muhammad Ali.

                      Like seriously, get over yourself.

Everybody gets criticized regardless of how many titles they get.
