I had Mosely winning by a round before the stoppage, and was teeing off on Vargas in the 9th, before the bout was stopped.

I didn't see any headbutts, all I saw was Mosely landing a right hand in vargas' eye over and over again.

Mosley did come at Vargas head first, I don't think his eyes started swelling because of a head-butt, but on the inside there was alot of contact that probably made his eye feel worse.

According to vargas, he has never lost a fight.

He fought Winky after eating only one boiled egg a day for two weeks.

He fought Trinidad after losing half the blood in his body the day of the fight. He was going to sleep on Nyquil. He was coming down from 312 pounds. His clothes didn't get back from the cleaners in time. Whatever.

He lost to Oscar because his nutritionist "tricked" him by "sneaking" (injectable) steroids into his system.

He was robbed against Shane because the swelling was caused by headbutts.

            YAWN.

I ****ing hate Vargas and his fat Mexican wife. "Top of the food chain"?? His wife ATE the whole damn food chain.

Shane has never been KO'd, not even by Vernon who hits harder than Vargas.

I will take Vargas by UD.

"Shane didn't want this fight, he got pressured into it," says Fernando Vargas in regard to his July 15 PPV rematch with Shane Mosley. "He didn't even want to be at the press conference after the fight and he was the winner. He didn't want to catch me because he knew I was going to call him out. He knows and the world knows he didn't want this fight. He's doing it for the money and I'm doing it for the vindication on July 15."

In regard to the swelling over his eye that prompted an early stoppage, El Feroz says he is using different headgear in training "so my face will get used to getting hit. I don't think it was used to it last time." He also stated he will tell the referee to control Shane's holding and headbutts. "He didn't make my eye swell with his hands or his fist. He did it with his head. He kept on coming in with his head. I remember it vividly, each time I got head butted, I was like, 'MAN.' I would just clench my teeth and look down so he couldn't see that he kept on hurting me when he was coming in with his head.....If I were to see Shane on the other side of the ring with an eye like that, I would have gone for broke. He respected what I carry in my left and right hand. He was respecting me with one eye, AND I was still winning the fight. He can't say he had me on the ropes and he was punishing me and they stopped it. When they stopped it, I was putting pressure on him."

I actually feel Mosley was slightly ahead at the time of stoppage and Vargas was seeming to be coming on......It would have been a good last couple of rounds.I am looking forward to the rematch.

Mosley definitely won the first time. However, I think Vargas can make this fight more easier if he uses his jab this time.

Typical Vargas bull****. He is the biggest punk I think I have ever seen in boxing. He is right though, Mosley didn't want the rematch...but not for the reasons Vargas thinks. He didn't want it, becuase beating a has-been doesn't help him. He wanted bigger fights. Since the money was there, he took it. As Clubber Lang says, "challenge?, no I reject the challenge becuase Vargas is no challenge, but I will be more than glad to beat up on him some more"

Vargas has no class at all. He brings his young son to the post fight press conference to witness his crying like a little *****...he is good for a laugh however, so I'll give him that. My favorite line from Vargas that I saw in the new HBO "Countdown to Vargas-Mosley 2" he said something to the effect of.."having no father helped me be the "man" I am today." for the first time ever, I agreed with him on something.

                      GO SUGAR SHANE!!!
