Comments Thread For: Carlos Takam Feels Time is Right For Dereck Chisora Rematch

Heavyweight contender Carlos Takam believes the scenario is perfect for a rematch with Derek Chisora. Last July, Takam was battering Chisora for seven rounds and appeared to be on his way to a stoppage win. And then Chisora caught Takam cold in the eight, dropping him down twice for a come from behind knockout victory.

It was a ggood fight but I'd rather Takam or Chisora vs Miller, Ortiz or Kownacki. Problem is Takam and Chisora are at the cashing out stage so unlikely to travel away from the money.

Millers fighting AJ (most likely) ortiz outboxes both of them easily in a borefest, not any money in them fights either. I agree Cashing out against each other is best option at this stage of there career

Ortiz outboxes them easily based on what?

Ortiz got brutally ktfo boy wilder and has beat a bunch of stiffs

He's never fought anyone occupying that middle ground such as a takam. So we don't know how he would do against him.

I think a rematch would be fine, I thought Takam was on top and winning the fight fairly comfortable before he got caught and knocked out. Chisora can try and prove that it wasn't a fluke the first time and it should make decent money. I bet Hearn tries to make it a PPV, though.

maybe on the undercard of an AJ PPV I could see it.

Chisora seems up for a good
Fight period. I think he’d fight any American contender in a heartbeat. The Americans, however, don’t do that.

              I am lookin forward
              To Kownacki-Washington.

Why not? Both are pretty much out of contention at this stage but both have a decent name & can probably still make some money. I'm all for it. They are both at the same level...
