Miles Shinkwin has been given his next fight date. The English light-heavyweight champion will make a defence of his title before the first quarter of the year is out. Shinkwin will face Kirk Garvey in a voluntary defence on March 2. The fight will take place on a card promoted by Ryan Smith at Bethnal Green's famous York Hall venue, according to the latest round of British Boxing Board of Control circulars, with further details to be revealed in due course.
