Pick em poll: Which fights for saturday?

Cool but i guess it's better to give the players on here what they want. You're on the Boxrec one these days aincha? Myself I'd probably either skip or put in one or both Featherweight fights. I'm interested to see what Keith and Takeshi look like, of course, but I'm not sure they need a pick 'em. I ain't had a look at the game over there more than a glance when I first heard about it, but maybe time to see how it looks. Hell, might even share notes.
Either way just gonna be led by the players on this one... threshold I worked on last year was something like a quarter of active players voting for a fight (or no fight) which is about 10 or 11 votes as things stand.Comment

I would take a pass on these .
Hardly anyone's gonna pick against Thurman and Munguia . In the smaller weights most will be making blind picks or going off their Boxrec .
I vote pass .Comment

OK Gents. We just about got enough votes for Thurman against Josesito, except 4 or 5 of em are form guys who have never to my knowledge played in the Pick Em. Best I can tell we got 8 votes from regular(ish) players and I'm looking for 12 to demonstrate enough interest in any of the fights (or in having no pick em this week if that's the majority vote).
Keep 'em coming, and if you think none then vote none.

King Tug vs Marrero is a great “pick em” fight IMO. Either fighter is capable of wining by decision or pulling off a KO. Both have power and both have shown vulnerability.OK Gentlemen. We got a few fights on Saturday that are all interesting for different reasons, but the CREW ain't quite sure which ones you the players would like to see in the game, so we've decided to get your opinions in a poll. Not only will this help us for this Saturday but it'll hopefully give us a better feel for what fights to include going forward.
OK. The two biggest fights by a margin are also both - on paper at least - wild mismatches. Munguia vs Inoue is intriguing mainly cos it's as yet not apparent how good Takeshi is. Unbeaten for sure and undoubtedly standout at national level is he really good enough to hang with the best in the world? The bookies don't think so having Jaime as at least 1/25 favourite.
The return of the Keith. One Time is an even wider favourite against faded ex-contender Josesito Lopez, but it might give us some insight into how much of Thurman is left after surgeries and a two year lay off. Worthy of a pick 'em though when Keith is a 1/50 favourite? You decide.
Dudes with an eye to up and comers among the lower weights might find more interest and more competitive fights at featherweight on the undercards in Houston and Brooklyn. I know we're all too mature to s****** (EDIT: to laugh in a juvenile fashion) at King Tug's ring moniker, but the young Mongolian is looking like one hell of a fighter so far and takes on solid contender Claudio Marrero for the IBO trinket. In Houston Jesus Rojas (Boxrec #16 TBRB #9) defends the WBA (regular) against Chinese #1 Can Xu... the 'Monster' with no teeth 15(2) 2(0) 0.
Make your wishes known gentlemen. Bigger name mismatches, little guys you maybe never heard of or none at all.

The other fights are pretty predictable.Comment

Last chance to vote on which fights we want a Pick 'em for this weekend. So far none of the fights really has sufficient interest, but another coupla votes from regular players will swing it for Thurman vs Josesito.Comment

I'd like to see Thurman back and Munguia was good to me last year when nobody knew about him and picked freaking glass chin ali to beat himComment

Okay gentlemen Ima call it now. If we include the votes of the Pick 'em team we got just enough interest to throw up a pick 'em for Thurman vs Josesito, although time is running short.
For future fights we'll be putting up a list of potential bouts over the coming months to gauge interest in a more timely fashion.
Thanks
