That's really the only thing left for Broner. He has nowhere else to go other than be gatekeeper status for up and comers at this point. The fight with Jessie Vargas was a nice evenly matched scrap and the post fight interview made the idea of a rematch a bit more interesting.

I don't like to watch Broner fight anybody except for the pleasure of watching him take a beating. He throws very few punches. He retreats a lot and clinches a lot and shakes his head saying he wasn't hit a lot and none of that is fun to watch.
