    Trainer Buboy!

2 fights under buboy and i must say im starting to eat my words... i shiieted on buboy from the jump! but now it seems like his work with manny is a bit better than roach at this point!

of course, roach is a better trainer but im saying at this point, it seems like pac and buboy flow together better. even on the mitts now. pac's recent mitt work with buboy kinda shiiet on pac's recent work with roach. it seems like after a few camps pac and buboy is clicking better now.

with buboy, pac is throwing the jab a lot more! and that sets up a lot of his punches. he also goes to the body a lot more! with roach at times, pac just walks forward and gets hit with his head snapping back. pac look lost at times in recent fight under roach.

maybe pac just needed a break and some rest and its not really the trainers but i gotta be lying to myself if i say he doesnt look a lil better with buboy. yeah his opponents aint been the best, but his recent fights with roach his opponents werent the best either!

yall remember that thread about buboy training pac for broner's running style and everyone came in there and said broner is not really a runner??? yall remember that??? and then look at the fight last night, broner started running. i think sir buboy is a lot better than we think!

Buboy has been studying tapes of Broner.

"Broner looks mobile, fast and wants to run," Fernandez said to The Manila Times. "So that's one of our preparations. He chases all the length of the ring until we get him.

LOL yea it was a weird ass move no doubt about that. But I do think its not THAT weird really if you think about it a lil cuz we've all seen guys who's son boxed with the dad as the trainer, who knew lil to nothing about boxing often times at the start, have highly successful sons in the amateur & pro game. So I don't think being a trainer is that difficult to become if you got some passion for it, for learning & due to a loved one participating in it.

And I think Manny & Buboy got a great friendship & Buboy has been there or around since I've heard about Manny all these years ago now. So Buboy has a deeper knowledge of training & strategy than I think a lot of us might have given him credit for. And I suspect he had that passion for learning that'll help you out in anything due to his friendship with & love for Manny.

Plus its not like a fresh take & a change isn't often a boost in energy, motivation & goals for oneself. So while I doubt Buboy is punching a ticket to the HOF as a trainer one day or goes onto a successful training career post-Manny's retirement I think he's probably just what the doctor ordered for this last chapter of Manny's career.

And sh^t there is the factor of Manny is just a talented mfer so he's beating a lot of guys with a below average NSB troll mumbling to him in the corner between rounds & during training too probably.

    Respect to Buboy.

Yeah Pacquiao needed “advice” in the corner when having fought Matthysse or Broner, such opponents would be harder for Roach to analyze...yeahh.. suuuure

i said his opponents werent the best but under roach recently, his opponents werent the best either! pac vs horn???!! pac also didnt look all that good against jesse vargas, and those were recent fights under roach. he's a lot more explosive now. like i said, maybe he just needed a rest.

PAC beat Horn. It’s funny when PAC haters troll that comedic loss, but still, PAC was the more accurate puncher and effective aggressor. He still beat Vargas too. All under Roach

Yup, Pacquiao with Buboy as head trainer would've stopped Horn that night IMO.
