This is BS...he is torn morally because he wants to call the fight as he sees it, and he does, but he knows he is commentating on a blatant cheater in his eyes so it's a pretty tough position to be in I can imagine. There’s no vendetta. But Paulie has a weird jealousy with fighters who started their careers and succeeded at weight classes below him then moved up in weight and moved past him and had success. Especially when it’s universally known theyd kill Paulie.

When interviewed and asked about Mikey Garcia you can see Paulies jealousy and hate towards him too.
