Mares is one of the only ones who trash talked Golden Boy. Mares is simply ungrateful.

Charlos, Spence, Jacob's, Porter, Quillin, Figaroa, and last week Broner have all said they made money with Golden Boy and that they were treated right. Everyone but Mares said it was nothing personal.

As a matter of fact most of the fighters Haymon stole were made stars by Golden Boy. FACTS

To answer your questions...Jacobs was going nowhere until he got with Eddie Hearn, Hearn put him in position to be a star. Yes, Top Rank picked up Bieterbiev and they will attempt to make him a star but that's going to be hard because it's a little late and Bieterbiev is running out of time.

Aren't they all providing us with mismatches? Look at the last two mismatches gone wrong that Lomachenko had. Look at the bum (Crolla) he's planning to fight next. Look at Canelo-Fielding. Look at GGG's whole resume up to Jacobs.

Mares is at least much better than all those.

That says a lot about how good Davis actually is. Mares went 24 close rounds with Santa Cruz (a P4P material).

Jacobs put himself in position by giving GGG all he could handle choosing the IBF route which led to fighting his stablemate. He then held out on choosing a platform and promoter until he was guaranteed Alvarez. None of that was due to Hearn.

The only law suit that was dismissed was the second one one that accused Al Haymon of breaking the Muhammad Ali by being a manager and promoter (Which we now know he is)

But both Al Haymon and Richard Schaefer loss the law suit on the anti trust act and was made to pay Golden Boy back.
