Still sad to see Broner fall from grace like that

Prior to Maidana, and to a lessser extent Malignaggi, Broner was heavily hyped up as the next big boxing star. I thought that he would actually be the real deal after his great performance against DeMarco. He looked great knocking guys out before he moved up to WW and it’s such a shame to see a talent like him fall so flat at this point at the age of 29. I would have though the Maidana loss would put some senses to him and make him a better fighter but as it turns out he’s way too dumb and ignorant to make any changes inside and outside the ring.

I seriously hope that this clown doesn’t get anymore chances. He doesn’t deserve to get paid more.

I personally could care less if he gets anymore big fights, but I would never wish for him to lose out on making more money for his family.

Im a good man, you sir are just jealous

I really disliked him when he first came on the scene. I could tell that he was a hype job since back then.

He never really fell from grace, he fell from being hyped. he doesnt have any world class wins he was just overhyped cause he was american, brash and unbeaten. Like some current fighters are/were until recently. They do it every time

Sad for you maybe. I dislike him more than any other boxer. He is a disgusting disgrace with the nasty cruel things he is constantly saying. I always want him to lose and I am always happy when he does lose. If he was to get out of boxing I think boxing would be better off without him. I see no positives in Broner. His after the fight tirade is a good example of why I don't like him and wish he would go away.

He didn't fall from anywhere. Broner was never a great fighter and I've always said that after his loss to Porter. It was pretty obvious at that point. He'll always be a limited low stamina fighter who lacks heart. He gets so scared and afraid of losing in the ring that he just enters this defensive state mind where the only thing he can think of is avoiding getting hit again. So then he just starts aimlessly moving around with no offensive. I mean if you're low stamina, then at least work around that, but he doesn't even do that. My friend used to always say that a focused Broner can accomplish anything and I've always said that was bs. Now this fight proves it. He looked horribly limited against a 40 year old fighter with a cold. The press conference was tougher for Pac than Broner was. He's pathetic at the elite level and always will be.

He was never that great. A split decision win against a shot Paulie who was never that good himself should have told you that. Broner made his name by cooning and being a weight bully at 130.

Falls from grace are usually well earned.

Broner was never going to be a big megastar, I picked him to demolish Maidana but even then you could see he was never going to beat anyone with decent movement. Broner transitions from offense to defense is too slow and it takes him a while to set his feet. To add he isn't the strongest mentally either.
