Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Open To Rematch, Mayweather Remains Noncommital

For those who believed the outcome for the Pacquiao-Adrien Broner main event was a foregone conclusion and were more interested in Saturday's Showtime Pay-Per-View telecast revealing a Pacquiao rematch with Floyd Mayweather, then the night left you with the same information you already had going in.

    Don't want to see it.

Line up Spence Jr-Pacquiao for the next fight.

If mayweather was all about the money then he'd take the rematch. But he knows its too risky (pacquiao is a pro boxer for a start). Maybe he'll find another mma fighter to box against instead.

Aside from pac fans who would give their left arm, leg and nut to have the chance to see pac avange his mayweather loss, who really wants to see this battle of 40 plus yr old yesteryear fighters??

I hope Floyd fights him because if not, Manny is going to fight Spence for $50 million and things won't end well.

I really don't want to see him go out like that. I know he needs the pay day but I'd rather not watch him fight Spence.

Pacquiao is the same fighter who fought Floyd 4 years ago. His performance has been consistent.

Meanwhile, Floyd hasn't fought a boxer in 4 years.

I guarantee you he won't take that fight.

                  Schedule in 2019 for PBC:

                  Thurman vs Porter 2
                  Pac vs Mikey/Spence winner

You missed the most important difference. Floyd couldn't do much other than jab his way to a points decision against a guy with one arm. Manny with one arm also landed the best punches of that fight. Imagine a Manny with two working arms?

Pac can't fight Spence. Stop it. Spence is big for 147 and Manny isn't even really a 147 lb fighter. Manny vs. Danny Garcia would be more reasonable. Loma and Crawford are out because they both ducked, especially Loma. I think it's more likely Thurman or Danny Garcia for Manny.
