      • Manny shoulda never fought this bum. A gunshy strong chinned ballerina biiiitttchhhh. It’s hard to fight scum like Broner. Ab is gonna look back ten years from now and be mad at himself for his pathetic attempt at winning a prize fight. The money will be gone and the regret will be strong

Good chin or not, if prime Pac hits you right on the chin with a loaded up straight left, you go down. Broner did not even go down. Pac's right hook was more accurate that we've seen in a long time, but like past prime GGG's power shots, the snap is just not what it used to be. In Pacquiao's prime, he had like 100/100 snap. Now it's down to 80/10. Prime GGG had like 90/100 snap, now his is down to 70 or something. See what Im saying? 80 is still good enough to beat Broner, but it's not prime.
Pacquiao didn't throw as many punches because he was cautioned by his corner to not get overly aggressive, to remain careful throughout. Of course he can't throw the volume of punches that he used to without losing some steam but that was not the only reason he was being careful. Of course he's way past prime...We all know that. He hurt Broner pretty badly to the head in ...was it the 7th round? Most of Pac's follow up punches didn't connect well. He definitely still has the punching power to make any welterweight cautious. That doesn't mean he would necessarily beat all of the top guys BUT he would/ could be hell for any of them and if he doesn't get dragged into a long drawn out dog fight he could beat any of them....The problem for Manny is that all of the trainers for the top guys will know that "dragging Manny into a long, drawn out dog fight" will be to their advantage and they will make that part of the pre-fight training. Older guys like Mayweather are a different matter. Mayweather won't have any advantage to making it a dog fight with Pacquiao.

          • Now that he got his tuneup/stay busy fight outta the way, what’s next for Manny? He didn’t look especially good tonight. But I think he showed a little too much for Floyd to wanna deal with at this stage of his life. But you never know with Floyd. I can’t see Manny risking a potential Floyd payday against too good a fighter. My guess is we see him in with at best a guy like Danny Garcia. But he’ll likely stay busy against somebody like Khan or Mikey Garcia. Both of whom will be coming off loses to the best two welterweights in the world.

As for Broner, he’ll continue to earn a living as this generation’s Mayorga. If by some miracle he had won tonight, he would have gotten a crack at Floyd. But since he didn’t, he’ll be best the next opponent on the embarrassment of a comeback tour Keith Thurman is on

              • The fight went just how I expected 8-4 9-3 in Pacquiao's favor. No KO either way.

The commentary was BS though I don't care if Manny throws 1000 punches a round if he only lands 6 then that's all that counts I don't know why people think activity alone should win rounds if your not landing anything.. They didn't even want to give credit to Broner for some of the punches landed or rounds he did win.. It's like HBO all over again with the favortism.

And personally I'm glad Floyd ignored them. I mean the man is going on 42 years old, retired and people still trying to pressure him into fighting again. He hasn't had a real pro high level fight since Maidana... What does he have to gain besides money from beating Pac in another boring fight? Nothing!! People just want to see him lose if he comes back and beats Pac again next question will be..."Soo Floyd when are u fighting Spence/Thurman?" GTFOH!

Like Floyd always use to say it's never good enough..

If anything this fight showed me from what I seen Manny would probably be better off fighting the Mikey Garcia's, Lomas, Cano's of the world not Spence or Thurman or any of the elites at 147

Trust me Mikey wont know what hit him when those punches start landing and we see Manny can work his way around counters too.
I have to agree with you.

Mikey fights at a controlled pace and he doesn't have the physicality to push Pacquiao. Mikey is a good fighter but I just don't think he'd be able to beat Pac....Maybe? But I doubt it.

                  • Easy win for Pac, as I predicted.

Broner still can fight guys like Berto, i guess.

Yeah, I agree with you. Floyd should stay away from Pac so that he can maintain the 0 on his record...That's more important than earning another 100 million plus.
