    Permanent resident boxer

    Hi, Can a permanent resident, not a U.S citizen can compete in national amatuer competition?

          It said in USA boxer eligibility that permanent resident or greencard holder cannot fight in national championship, and also golden glove national. Is that true? Do you need to be a US citizen?
