      IBF rules.

GGG fans all know Jacobs weighs about 235 on fight night though, LOL.

It's not IBF rules. I thought so too but the IBF doesn't do it for unifications.

Don’t matter if is no longer an IBF rule fact is Jacobs agreed to it. This isn’t giving Canelo a 10 lbs advantage is just clearly makes it impossible for Jacobs to come in as a light heavyweight as he’s been know to do.

pretty pointless clause as both are fighting for the IBF title

--- Hey, Dummy, Jacobs already forfeited his IBF title when he skipped the weighin vs Golovkin.

Same rules for this fight and Jacobs can skip out again if he wants.

Regardless, they have the whole rest of the day to pack on more lbs.

Yeah, I know. You should sue your parents for your inability to know up from down, my sympathies...

IBF no longer has 2nd day weigh in and it's a unification anyway, so his clause has got to be from canelo's side, and is it really necessary that they have to do this? Canelo has competed above 160 ibs before, and it's not like canelo will be at a weigh disadvantage even if jacobs rehydrates. Some of you guys got to stop with the jacobs being a cruiserweight nonsense. It was not proven, and jacobs was bigger, but didn't look significantly that much bigger in that GGG fight, and GGG being hurt and was at hospital was fake news that frank warren falsely mentioned when negotiations between GGG/saunders failed because GGG had the canelo fight within grasp back then.

Not surprised at all. I actually thought this right when the fight was announced.
