Great year and great work from the pik em crew esp. Koba with a shout out to NC.
Be kinda cool if the winner received a title.
Be like 2019 pick em winner or some ish.
I like how the seasons don't stop and were straight back into next year for a whole new year of pik em fun.

You never know what may happen with “titles”. It was nice to go year to year without a hiccup.

It's been a memorable one man, I've personally really enjoyed watching the progress of the different players as we've gone through the year and it's been a real joy kinda getting to know the different players and their little idiosyncracies over the 12 months - shit, sat up sometimes til the early hours rooting for guys I only know through words on a screen... ain't fkn normal man, but I get something outta it despite that it's sometimes a grind getting the work done.

Anyways, we've nearly done for 2019 and it's gonna be time to start looking forward to the 2020 season, and of course I look forward to working with you again next year NC if you're still up for it, and hopefully make 2020 even bigger and better.

Well, If there was a prize for chutzpah, man, you'd already have that ish in the bag, but I am gonna have to give some thought to whether we want any changes coming into 2020 and all suggestions are welcomed.

I'm kinda busy this morning, but I'll see about throwing up the pre-season discussion thread for 2020 this eve... got one or two little anouncements to make anyways...

Attention**nsb pick em prize fund 2019**announcement

Ok Gentlemen, we've reached the final evening of fights for the 2019 NSB Pick Em, and I can only hope you've all enjoyed the game this year as much as I and the rest of the team have. It's genuinely been a pleasure.

Now, ever since we took the game over from BroBob - nearly 2 years ago now - it's been my intention to approach the site about the possibility of offering some support in the form of prizes, whether it was just User points, or perhaps vouchers or merchandise... IDK.. honestly I wasn't particularly hopeful but figured it had to be worth a try.

Anyways I finally got round to PMing Big Poppa on Christmas Eve, possibly after a drink or two, asking if the 'Scene could come up with something - their choice - if nothing else to drum up more interest for next season.

Anyways.. I thought maybe some crap merchandise or something, maybe a points drop... last thing I was expecting was a simple, laconic PM back about 2 minutes later in the form of a list:

1st PRIZE $300
2nd PRIZE $150
3rd PRIZE $50

I figured it was as well to keep in under my hat til after the Christmas festivities had passed and save it for tonight when hopefully we should get maximum exposure.

So. There we go gentlemen... I know this years' competition is all but decided already but we'll make a formal announcement and Prizegiving once the scores from tonights fights are totted up.

And Damn, hope you'll all join me in thanking BIGPOPPAPUMP and the 'Scene for this great - and to me totally unexpected - show of support.
