Comments Thread For: Ellerbe: This is must win fight for both Pacquiao and Broner

LAS VEGAS, NV - Manny Pacquiao scored his first knockout in nearly 9 years when he stopped Lucas Matthysse in Malaysia this past July. After the fight was over opinions were mixed on whether the old Pacquiao was back or if the knockout was more of a result of Matthysse being a shell of his former self. The hard hitting Argentine retired shortly after the fight.

I got manny winning the fight by UD but Pac-Man gets dropped something crazy And damn near getting stopped at some point during the fight giving broner a couple of more lives in his career.

Maybe for Broner but not for Pacquiao. Pacman been there and done that over and over again. I think if Pac loses to anybody now it will be like a passing of the torch type of thing. But i do hope he beats broners ass tho. He should fight Crawford next or the winner of spence/Garcia.

                A must win for either?

No it’s not. Not in the least.

Does this mean that the winner will fight Floyd?

It is for Pacquiao. People are expecting him to win and if he doesn't I think he'd probably retire.
