Roman Karmazin vs Cory Spinks, Can Roman handle movement?
Karmazin's style is taylor-made for southpaws, as we've seen in his two victories over Keith Holmes and Kassim Ouma. However, neither of those fighters use the lateral movement, and/or punch from the angles Cory uses. Do you think Roman has two left feet and will be exposed? Or do you think Cory get KTFO, again, in...hrmmm.."The Lou?"

Good question and the answer remains to be seen.
That's why I'm picking Spinks to squeze out a UD victory.
But then again if Spinks gets caught he'll go down.

no. Karmazin might have some early success. But as the fight wears on he will not be able to hit spinks cleanComment

Good Lord, Spinks is small. He was ok-sized at 147, but for this fight he came in at 153 with pants on. He is definitely not sizing up to Karmazin. Imagine also what Roman will look like once he has put his water-weight back on. Karmazin has broader shoulders and obviusly the better chin as well.
As far as the movement is concerned, that is what this fight is all about. If Karmazin looks lost due to Spinks' boxing skills, he will be decisioned soundly. However, even if he is outboxed all night he can probably stop Spinks at some point with a good hard flurry after being down on the cards.
This is a tricky fight for sure, but I'm going to go with Spinks by close UD. He'll have a shaky moment or two, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets stopped. I'm just going with the hunch here that his movement will give Roman lots of problems.Comment
