GGG is being forced into retirement

When Canelo decided to fight Danny Jacobs for his middleweight titles, he effectively ended GGG's career.

He already did that to some degree in the ring, but Canelo's moves since the fight have to be destroying GGG's confidence, and his image of himself, earning potential.

Canelo got a record deal, won another fight and yet another "belt", turns around, and lines up one of the biggest fights in the division.

Canelo does not need GGG, and if he does fight him again, GGG will be at least a year older than their last fight, and by that time, the fight will not be as intriguing as it once was.

There is nobody at ESPN, PBC means Charlo, his only choice is to go to DAZN, and play second fiddle to Canelo, which his ego won't allow him to do.

GGG should walk away, Canelo ruined him physically, and at this point, he could get beaten by a lesser fighter which will all but cancel his resume since he will have zero wins over a fighter that could be considered great.

The old man needs to head into the sunset.

Yeah it's caught up with him, he never committed to fighting great fighters, was only interested if they were smaller than him.

GGG can sign to PBC. They have 3 top fighters he can fight. Charlo, Sergiy &Maciej. The problem is that Charlo would avoid him at all cost and if Charlo don’t want the fight Haymon won’t make the fight.

and he ended it on a high, with the vast majority of the press and the public believing he beat the younger fresher alvarez for the 2nd time.

Canelo didn't beat GGG in the ring or hurt his confidence outside the ring. That's just the usual GGG hater BS. He is one of the richest of all boxers and everybody is offering him top dollar to sign with them. His fighting ability and earning potential are both great. He will retire when he decides the time is right and most fans still think of him as an undefeated boxer. He is still in the top 5 pound for pound best on most credible lists. He is 5 years younger than Pacquiao and 6 years younger than Mayweather. He is young enough that Oscar didn't want Canelo fighting him again even in Vegas.

Yes he did. Imagine how a fight would go with a 28 year old GGG fighting a 36 year old Canelo.

yeah its fun to imagine things....but its not reality....

probably because canelo will not fight at 36 so we wouldnt know what he looks like then....because canelo didnt wait till 34 to step up competition and began fighting good/great fighters much earlier than that.....

                    imagine if golovkin did that?
