Nice! I don't see how this fight does well enough on PPV to make up for that kind of purse but whatever, i'm glad Manny is getting paid.

Spence is Haymon's guy, not Thurman. Spence is the one with star potential from the bunch. That's why his name was being rumored as one of GGG's opponents. He will feed him Pacquiao over Thurman. And if Pacquiao is getting another 20+ million pay day? He's not turning that down.
Manny is in a spot now, where he can call his shot too, though. If faced with the choice of fighting Errol Spence Jr next or fighting Keith Thurman next, I can't imagine him choosing to fight Spence Jr (especially with the camp being Thurman's second fight camp in over two years, along with Thurman's recent history of soft-tissue injuries).

If you want to build Spence as a star, build him. Pacquiao would help, but having the fight after the Olympics, getting the belt in Sheffield, selling out the Cowboys facility for the Ocampo fight, drawing a strong crowd at AT&T Stadium for the Mikey Garcia fight, and then drawing another massive crowd at AT&T Stadium for a Porter unification (Porter doesn't beat Thurman or Spence, I doubt he could beat Danny Garcia again tbh, and I'm assuming that he's simply too physical for Pacquiao to handle) would put you well on your way.

Spence can get a fight Dec/January if he wants to keep busy, but then you target the Thurman-Pacquiao winner for 2020 to launch into superstardom. Heck, I'd look to put that fight on Kentucky Derby weekend (first Saturday of May).

Spence wins that fight, he still has Danny Garcia and the Thurman-Pacquiao loser to solidify his claim to superstardom, but then he'd launch.
