He doesn't even seem to care about boxing that much these days. I might be wrong though, but that's the image that I have in my head. Hell, I cant even get excited about his bouts myself anymore and he is my countryman! He has some great power and looked pretty promising at one point but not even sure if I will watch this fight. I still hope he could win though and prove me wrong, but I got Pulev on this one

Yea I've had zero interest for years now. After the injury/time off he never regained his old form & never even got back on the path he was on previous to Del Boy.

He was among my favorite HWs to watch for a short period of time doe.

Pulev is IBF mandatory. It’s a logical question, since guys in mandatory positions always take soft touches.

Not me. I felt like it didn’t matter who faced Wlad, he would just jab and grab himself to a decision. The refs let him get away with murder.

Hell, I remember years ago I was watching an old match from the 60’s and someone’s comment was “wow, were they not allowed to clinch back then?” “No, you’ve NEVER been allowed to clinch, and it’s ruining the damn sport!”

Hell, even after Fury pushed Wlad’s **** in for 12 rounds, first thing the refs said was “well, we definately SHOULD have a new champion...”

I didn’t think Pulev vs H. Fury should have gotten a title shot. I’m not saying I WANT Helinus as #1 contender, I’m asking if he WOULD be.

Would like to see the culling of Kubrat Pulev. He is an annoyance more than anything. Fringe, Euro-level fighter holding onto mandatory spots and getting in the way more than anything.
