      There are more weight classes, and no same day weigh ins.

        they're not. they're bigger since they don't have to hit 147 on fight night.

            They all carry either more muscle mass or fat. Fighters back then (the elite ones) didnt eat the ****ty food we do nowadays and weren't focused on adding so much muscle mass. The average weight for specific heights has gone up dramatically for all Americans.

            But that's alsomissing the point that fight weigh-ins were the day of in the era of the 4 kings (or 5).
