Comments Thread For: Liam Smith Would Welcome a Showdown With Kell Brook

Former WBO junior middleweight champion Liam Smith would love to face Kell Brook, who now fights at 154-pounds. It was recently announced that Smith had signed a three fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn, who also guides the career of Brook. Smith's brothers, including WBA super middleweight champion Callum have been promoted by Hearn as well.

This is another decent potential fight for Brook I wouldn't mind seeing. Smith is a tough fighter i have Brook winning but I don't see a KO result in this one.

Nahhh If Smith hing with Mungui for 12 he can hang with Brook. Ppl right Smith off because they hate Canelo. He can fight! He made me some good $$$$ against Williams.

I like the fight too. I don’t mind the idea of brook vs horn either. Brook is closing in on his career. Match ups with names are his best route. I’m not sure how competitive he is with the jr middles at PBC but I think he could have a fun scrap with Munguia

                Smith will beat Brook.

He will obliterate the surgical eye socket

Munguia/Brook is a 50/50 fight for sure IMO. I think the only reason he looked like crap in his last fight is because he was shaving weight off to fight khan at welterweight but never got the fight. And even though brook is a really good boxer, He's always had a tendency to brawl in spurts do him and Munguia would be fireworks.

Just outta curiosity I'd like to see him against any of the top PBC 154lbers. Or even some of the B level ones like Harrison, Jrock etc.

Yea those would be nice match ups. The only thing is, I met him once in Brooklyn and he’s a lot smaller then I imagined. I’m a honest 5 9 and I was taller then him. I also met Hurd in Brooklyn and he was HUGE! So there are some match ups he should stay away from. Munguia is big but also very green. So brook could operate against him and probably pull off a win.
