I forgot to mention Brook and Khan aren't even in the same division lmao.

Brook is #1 contender to Jarrett Hurd at 154...Khan fights at 147 and began his career at 135.

What are people even talking about? I swear people just hate Amir Khan for NO reason. Guy would have won every fight he ever lost had it gone the distance and had he not gotten caught/knocked out.

Guy has stepped up and fought damn near everybody...even Canelo at middleweight ffs. He was outboxing Canelo at middleweight, won every round before getting knocked out. To even take that fight having the chin he has. To even have the confidence and go out there box the way he did before he got caught.

Stop the madness lol. You can't sit there and hate on the dude when he STILL is out chasing the big guns and you can never count him out against anybody unless he gets caught. He's got a good chance at an upset if he's got anything left and has learned from his mistakes in the past.

I agree. He deserves way more respect.

If anything, it's Brook who should be under fire from the fans for repeatedly fighting grade C and below fighters throughout a very lacklustre career and only stepping up out of sheer desperation.

Legacy ? If he beats P4P Crawford for the title that does much more for his legacy than beating a faded, no title having, probably weight drained Kell Brook. I’m not saying Kell wouldn’t do anything for Khans legacy, but whatever it does for him is purely off of a beef or domestic rivalry they have. Oscar didn’t like Fernando Vargas, but when I look back on Oscars career I don’t see that as some defining legacy stamping victory for him.

He's got no chance. Like he had no chance vs Canelo. It's a bogus pursuit of a legacy - like me challenging Usain Bolt for the title of fastest man on Earth. It's completely unrealistic. Used to root for Khan from the amateur days but he talks so much shti it's now impossible (and has been for years) for me to back his deluded asss.

Beat me to it as I was going to post how fighting a better fighter can still be considered a duck. Crawford and brook both beat khan. He can hold his head high still after Crawford, he has to go into hiding after brook.

He takes totally unrealistic match ups and tries to fool you into thinking he's brave or he's a legacy fighter. Fact is, Canelo and Crawford got Khan to feed on because he brings in a reasonable amount of revenue as a known name while being an easy W for an elite fighter. Khan has become a terrible con artist in recent years.

It’s ludicrous isn’t it. I think all fighters, maybe apart from Audley Harrison, aren’t actually scared of the physicality of boxing or the pain of the punches, more of the damage to their pride after losing, especially a fight they’re expected to do well in.

So there really is nothing brave about entering a contest where there is zero expectation of you winning. You can tell he himself knew he had no chance of beating Canelo by how he pleased he is just by winning a couple of rounds and making the fight competitive. To be fair the same can be said for brook v ggg, dining out on a loss is the mindset of someone there to make up numbers.

I do believe brook wants this fight more though, and even though they’re both slipping they both know brook wins. Styles make fights and brooks timing beats speed and he finds a home for that right hand eventually. Also you can’t try and publicly out someone as a bender and then not fight them.

Granted, I thought he stood no chance in that fight like you did, and granted, we were both right. But man, he really surprised me there. If he went 6 with Canelo, and had the balls to get in the ring and fight, then I believe HE has the confidence to go in and beat Crawford. Amen to all that. Throwing the gay slur then backing away again is real playground shti. Every so often Khan gives you a glimpse into the real Amir and it's not classy at all. Sure, he's a capable fighter at a certain level but he's a prize ahsshole and that's that.

The only thing that I don’t like... if the expected outcome happens (Crawford beats Khan easily), there will be a disgusting amount of headlines about Khan chasing Brook again, a fight which no one will really want to see anymore.

I thought he did okay, won the first two rounds by sticking and moving, but you could see Danny getting closer and closer to timing Khan's bursts. Then in the 3rd round BAM! he catches Khan, drops him and absolutely batters him for the next minute of the round then smashes him to pieces in the 4th. If that's a success then I'm Bob Arum and Nicki Minaj's love child.
He might win two or three rounds from TC, but the big L is what will be on his record after he inevitably gets caught flush and jumped on.

I agree he loses. What I’m saying is he does not go into this fight THINKING he will lose. He has confidence and thinks he can win. He is fighting for his legacy whether the fans believe in him or not.
