brock has a spotless record and is in line for a title shot, you can bet your ass his next opponent will be very crefully chosen and probably wont have much of a chance of winning.

he really doesent stand to gain anything by fighting any tough fights without a title on the line

Brock shouldn't be judged off his win over Ibragimov. Brag' was there not to fight, but only to survive. When you're up against a guy like that, it's most difficult to look impressive. In other fights Brock has looked impressive though.

I would like to see Brock rematch Mccline. Mccline, if anyone hasn't noticed, is on five fight win streak and has keep busy by fighting 4 times in 2006. He's also scheduled to fight journey-man Terry Smith (28-1) later this month.

This rematch would be a "cross roads" fight for either fighter; for Mccline he could avenge his loss and gain a good win over a top ranked contender. For Brock, he could make a good showing against a good name opponent after his lackluster win over Ibragimov.

If Brock's camp is too nervous about fighting a dangerous opponent like Mccline, they should consider fighting Brian Minto or Dominic Guinn. Both of these fighters probably wouldn't pose any threat, but would give Brock a good workout and confidence if he can dominate the fight and/or go for an exciting knockout.

Brock would not be at a crossroads fight, he would gain nothing be beating Mccline or Guinn again. He beat Mccline easily, and also beat out guinn in the O Trails. He should be giving a title shot.
