It was Danny's turn to be interviewed in the trade paper Boxing News this week, a Limey publication edited by Ring writer Claude Abrams.
I've reprinted Danny's Q & A here, which contains some very unusual answers (look at his answer about favourite music). For a little quiz, I've also made one of the questions/answers up. A million points for the first one to spot the false one...
Age started boxing: I was eight, but I was doing pad work with my dad when I was five or six.
First boxing memory: I had a very tough match with a boxer called Mark Smith when I was 14, which I won on points [it was his first bout].
Inspiration: To be world heavyweight champion and to emulate my favourite fighters like Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott.
Favourite all-time fighter: Rocky Marciano.
Best fight you've seen: Probably Hagler versus Hearns.
What do you do to relax: I like to watch comedies like The Office, Harry Enfield or Oliver Samuels - a Jamaican comedian - to make me laugh and keep my mind off fighting.
Pre-fight superstition: none.
Typical breakfast: Three eggs, a burger, mackerel.
Toughest part of being a boxer: Losing. That's painful.
Favourite music: I don't listen to music.
Last book you read: The Koran.
Favourite film: Angels With Dirty Faces with James Cagney, my favourite actor.
What car do you drive: Cherokee Jeep.
Where do you train: All over the place.
Toughest man faced: Vitali Klitschko for the WBC title. He had an awkward style and hit very hard.
What supplements do you take: multi-vitamins.
Last place you went on holiday: Turkey. It's nice, I've been there three times.
Best boxer in the sport today: Floyd Mayweather, but Joe Calzaghe was unbelievable against Jeff Lacy. I sent a text to Frank telling him to congratulate Joe for me.
Favourite football team: Arsenal, of course.
Message to fans: Watch me dish out some ****in' Humdilla tomorrow - now get back on board with me ****in' Battle Bus!
