Typical of boxing media, and media at large, in 2019. They want to make it so we cant trust anything anymore, making it easier for them to lie, and they are succeeding.

Theres only press releases with statements going around at the moment, press conference on Friday. Bivol's statement is that he intends to move between 168 and 175 for the best fight. Its wasnt just Bivol they were looking for a home for, the whole stable came as a package, would have been part of the decision to go to DAZN

Matchroom and TR have shown they can work together. "Valdez/Quigg" for example. Last year Moratti of TR had a great saying and I hope he meant it. In regards to competing against each other (however promoters go about it) in reference to working with matchroom that "its better for both parties to create a big enough wave so everyone can make even more money". Sounds like a great concept to me. Get everyone on board and while I'm asking the imposible, leave the egos out of it and think of the fans! We will notice I promise!

Bivol is looking to compete at 168. Probably wants Smith and a crack at Canelo. Matchroom and TR have a pretty good working relationship. It shouldn't be a problem to do a unification with any of the TR LHW champs.

Assuming Bivol moving down to 168 then? He’s mentioned it before, and he’s one of the smallest at 175.

Plus, who does Matchroom have at 175 now?

I like almost everyone who’s posted think he should have went to ESPn route since all the other straps are over there

Seems like Bivol will be the odd man out in that division for the foreseeable future which kind of sucks unless Kov wins the rematch and Main Events goes over to DAZN like they’re rumoured to do. Besides that there doesn’t seem to be any notable names on that side
