Dmitry Bivol's DAZN debut has been scheduled for March 9. Multiple sources have informed BoxingScene.com that Bivol will defend his WBA light heavyweight title that night against Joe Smith Jr. Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, is among the sites under consideration for that card, but the venue hadn't been finalized as of Tuesday afternoon.

How is dazn making money to pay fighter’s? It can’t be from gate and subscriptions. Are they just throwing money in hopes they get their investment back down the line? Virtually no one will see him fight and he won’t have any top lightheavyweights on top of that.

They obviously are losing millions and millions of dollars right now. That was expected though. They just hope to establish their product early on through boxing and then hope to get rights of other sports leagues.

Yeah that’s piss poor planning. I think dazn should have sought a network deal with the likes of a Paramount Channel something along those lines
