Gotta go where the dough is plentiful. Beterbiev is one smart fella. This could be a great year for the top light heavies. Bivol should jump ship as well.

So after Smith jr Bivol likely takes a few at 168 like he said he wanted to do.
That’s the only reason I’d stay in DAZN. They have **** all at 175 and are plentiful at 168.
Sure Bivol mentioned wanting Canelo, but I’m sure he realizes that will never happen.Comment

This tells me that Bivol will likely go to ESPN too. It just makes no sense for anyone not called Canelo to go to dazn, especially for Hearn. You’re fighting in front of 3000-4000 people, in small arenas, and no ones watching. Hearn swindling the dazn execs is the biggest grift in boxing history. He basically got his contract with dazn by saying he would sign all the PBC fighters....and dazn having no network option is just jumping the gun...streaming sports may be the future but it isn’t the present in the USAComment

If I didn’t get the Canelo fight you’re damn right I’d leave. Hell, I might leave anyway...he has a belt. Canelo could just refuse to fight him (Jacobs is a bad fight for Nelo IMO)
EDIT - is Jacobs even still there? I’ve heard he’s a free agent right now and hasn’t committed to Matchroom/DAZN until he knows if he’s getting Canelo.Comment

It’s looking like dazn will be relying on Canelo for the near future. Hearn has signed a lot of prospects he will need to move them along quite quickly and rely on his bigger British stats like Joshua and smith for now because he’s struggling to attract and retain the top talent with these short term deals. People are taking him for a ride and having easy fights then jumping ship. Wouldn’t be surprised if farmer is next.Comment
