  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Rips 'Geezer' Lennox Lewis For 'Talking ****' on Joshua

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has lashed out at former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. Hearn says he's fed up with some of the statements that Lewis has said about Joshua - certainly with respect to the failed negotiations to make a unification with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Eddie both fights can be made simple to just give up 50 per cent there done you may lose a bucket full of money but Joshua has enough of it anyway offer 50 deal done

You're not confused Hearn. You think everyone else is though. Yoi already had AJs scheduled opponent for April. I thought it was Whyte, but Whyte said you lowballed him. No surprise there. And what's funny is Eddie has harping for months that "Whyte deserves a shot" and then the lowball offer. And of course Wilder won't answer. He has a fight with Fury lined up and they should do the rematch. Hearn said the fight wasn't going to happen in the first place. When it did, he tried very hard to trash it But the fight was a success. Lewis is not wrong and Daddy Hearn confirmed it as such. The video is on youtube with Daddy Hearn talking about a 7 year plan for AJ and that doesn't include a Wilder fight. So AJ will sit back and fight mandos until a fair offer is made ...and not that flat fee bull either. Parker didn't have to jump through hoops like Wilder did.

Lennox is always critical of any British heavyweights that come after him.

He's paranoid about losing his spot as the best British heavyweight.

I think it’s more about timing and respect now more than money. Eddie was so disrespectful the first go around I don’t think Wilder’s team is in a hurry to sit down and negotiate. Plus everyone knows that Wilder is fighting Fury again. And personally I don’t think Wilder deserves 50% nor should Eddie offer it up.

He shouldn't be paranoid about that

One of the greatest "Geezers" of all time and AJ wouldn't last 6 Rounds with PRIME LENNOX!

Brits have just the most SH#T and outdated Insults Ever "Geezer" "Yanks"

Don't get upset at Lennox for not lowering the bar for AJ, as a All Time Great Heavyweight Lennox is suppose to have high standards for Heavyweights

STFU Eddie and show some respect to a boxing legend/ICON something you will NEVER BE no matter how much you run your mouth

Lennox is just hating.. can't be the unified champ of the world and be "protected". Worse part is , Lennox doesnt have a reason to be, as AJ still has a hell of a long way to go before nearing Lewis' greatness. A blind man can see, that right is Wilder who is "postponing" this
