Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux's Manager: We'll Fight Anyone At 122 Or 126 Pounds

Now that Guillermo Rigondeaux has fought for the first time in 13 months, his handlers want another challenging fight for him. Alex Bornote, Rigondeaux's manager, told BoxingScene.com that the former super bantamweight champion will fight any opponent within the 122-pound or 126-pound divisions. Ideally, Rigondeaux will continue competing at 122 pounds, his natural weight class.

Not many interesting fights for him at those weights. The most intriguing factor at this point is his age.

Isn't he with PBC now? Frampton, LSC, Russell Jr.

Just stay away from 130 and he'll be good. I'd like to see LSC or GRJ step up to the plate. I don't wanna hear that he's a boring fighter excuse to dodge him lol

Frampton just lost and took a beating. That ship has sailed I think.

Warrington and Valdez would be happy to fight him, Gary Russell Jr. would be good, Leo Santa Cruz will likely continue to DUCK RIGO.

Rigo fought a bum last night, but he did look much more aggressive than in the past. He used more of a pro style, attacking and also going to the body more often.

Gasp -- this was the first time I've EVER been entertained by watching Guillermo Rigondeaux. Would like to see him again if he fights in this same style.

Except for Loma, when Rigo had the chance to fight at 126 and for more money.
