    Wladimir Klitschko contends there's no truth to rumors he'll end his retirement to fight Dillian Whyte on April 13. Klitschko called reports regarding a fight with Whyte "fake news" in a text exchange with Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix, who revealed the information Monday morning through his Twitter account. Ukraine's Klitschko (64-5, 53 KOs), who'll turn 42 on March 26, retired 17 months ago, rather than embracing an immediate rematch against Anthony Joshua.

          Mannix didn't reveal the texts, but saying rumors of a Whyte fight are fake news isn't a firm statement that he's not planning a comeback either.

                  Klitschko looks like he's always in shape yr. Round so even at his age I'd be interested in seeing him against some of the 2nd tier heavyweights-whyte,miller even Joyce.

                  Assuming there's some truth to the comeback rumors,If I were him I'd only come back for the best financial opportunity or a belt.

                  As far as the top heavyweights go his options are pretty limited.He already lost to Aj and fury and he ducked Wilder and Ortiz in the past. Don't think any of those fights are winnable for him at this point.

                  He can sell out just about anywhere in germany or UK in a comeback fight against miller or whyte.

                      The shape means nothing - Ali, Holyfield, Tyson, Leonard they all looked in shape but the reflexes were gone. The Wlad of 2014 definitley hadn‘t lost to AJ.

                          Zero chance it was going to happen. Why would Wlad, after walking away from a lucrative rematch with AJ, come back to fight a guy who isn't a huge draw, and doesn't have a belt? Makes absolutely no sense.

                          If he's coming back, he's coming back for something that matters. Wlad/Whyte would simply be a footnote.
