Btw, I have no doubt Hearn made legitimate offers this time around to Wilder's team....But the elephant in the room is everyone knows the Fury rematch is next. This is the risk he made the first time around in negotiations letting it drag out and more interested in playing the PR games than actually making the fight. Hearn is under A LOT of pressure with DAZN and needs to start delivering. Wilder/Joshua fight is the one to make along with GGG/Canelo to attract the most subscribers. One problem is, Wilder's team won't want it on DAZN. All these offers he sent, did he mention in any of his interviews what network he proposed airing the fight?
Anyways, for those saying Wilder can always fight Fury next after Joshua is not necessarily true. Isn't Hearn saying he is proposing two fight deals? If so, the Fury fight isn't happening next.
Joshua vs Whyte
Wilder vs Fury II
Winners face off in early 2020 or late 2019. I know Breazeale is due his shot so that probably happens late 2019 for either Wilder or Fury, so early 2020 is more realistic.
Joshua can then make his US debut against Miller in NYC later in the year.
