Someone who doesn't want to deal with those vicious Canelo hooks and uppercuts. Better fight four easy no-hopers than deal with that for a 3rd time.

A perfect next opponent for Golovkin.

Yea you have to hear it from the boxer first. Also well AJ turned down 50m from fighting Wilder. Also it'll be a 3rd fight hopefully Cinco de Mayo. I like canelo and GGG . GGG won the first fight Canelo won the 2nd unless GGG knocks Canelo out in the 3rd Canelo is going to win if goes to decision.

Honestly this look like they are trying to use the public and media to strong arm ggg into signing with dazn.

They heard ggg might be signing with pbc so they ran to the radio and said yea we want to fight him. They allready had the date and venue set up and mind you this time canelo has the win over ggg so you know they are going to low ball and **** him in the negotiations.

So if ggg doesn’t take the fight they will say he is scared of canelo and this will solidify he doesn’t think he really won( by the way I thought the 1st fight was a draw and canelo won the 2nd) or ggg is forced to sign with dazn for x amounts of fights and will lose the more lucrative pbc deal.

IMO golden boy is trying to make this a lose lose situation for him.

Yeah if I was GGG I wouldn't be eager either... Canelo is a tough fight for any MW today, and having the judges slightly on Canelo's side for the last two fights I wouldn't expect that to change for the third fight.

I won't cry robbery, but there was definitely a slight, but clear, bias towards Canelo in each of their fights. One win each, two draws... both would be fairer outcomes than what we got. Hell, one draw and one GGG win would be fairer than what we got.

But, boxing isn't fair. Life isn't fair. If GGG knows this he won't be eager to fight Canelo again. I doubt he needs the money by now, so why would he do it. What's his motivation? He isn't getting any younger.

Very much my take. I had different scores on the fights, but the overall point you're making looks to me like what's going on... painting GGG into a corner. Course they possibly also hope to erase the controversy in the public mind with a decisive win (which is the probable outcome now) but either way Canelo comes off looking like the winner. Smart PR really, even if I always find that kinda shit a bit distasteful.

If I'm GGG I tell 'em to shove it, unless I really think I need them $s or I genuinely think I still got enough to KO Canelo.

Lil G needs to go fight scrubs like he has the overwhelming majority of his career.. CANELO will break him apart, especially if they fought at 168.. I’m tired of watching these disrespectful whites lie on Canelos name about PEDs, and then at the same time demand to eat off his plate by fighting him twice already.. Goldenboy needs to be done with Lil G, screw that punk, and I hope Lil G is backstabbing Loeffler and cutting him out of his deals.
